AfroKuba<\/strong> es un proyecto que abarca m\u00fasica, danza, ceremonial, religiosidad, etnolog\u00eda y etnolog\u00eda visual y pertenece al Comit\u00e9 cubano de La ruta del esclavo<\/em> de la UNESCO.<\/p>

Fundado en el a\u00f1o 2008 por el profesor Miguel \u00c1ngel Garc\u00eda Velasco quien ha cursado estudios de etnomusicolog\u00eda, antropolog\u00eda musical y comunicaci\u00f3n social, entre otros en La Habana y Espa\u00f1a, respectivamente.<\/p>

Garc\u00eda Velasco tambi\u00e9n ha sido organizador y promotor de festivales, conciertos y eventos culturales relacionados con Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>

Es miembro de la Uni\u00f3n de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba, del Consejo Cient\u00edfico del Museo Casa de \u00c1frica, fundador del Coloquio Internacional de Investigaciones de las Religiones Afroamericanas Rafael Robaina Jaramillo<\/em> y deI Instituto Cubano de Antropolog\u00eda de Cuba.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Pertenece a la Sociedad Iberoamericana de Etnomusicolog\u00eda (SIBE); a la Sociedad suiza de Etnomusicolog\u00eda (SEM-CH) y a la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Estudiosos de la M\u00fasica Popular-Rama latinoamericana (IASPM-AL), entre otros.<\/p>

Al frente del proyecto AfroKuba<\/strong> ha realizado m\u00e1s de cincuenta documentales, entre los que destacan: Tras las huellas de los arar\u00e1s cubanos<\/em>, 2010; El Ni\u00f1o de Ca\u00f1amazo<\/em>, 2015; Asere Cr\u00facoro (saludos a los presentes)<\/em>, 2016 y Sulkary, medio siglo despu\u00e9s<\/em>, 2020.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
