Redacci\u00f3n AfroKuba<\/sup><\/sub><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Museo Afro Brasil, ubicado en el coraz\u00f3n del Parque Ibirapuera de S\u00e3o Paulo, fue inaugurado en 2004 a partir de la colecci\u00f3n personal del escultor, curador y muse\u00f3logo bahiano Emanoel Ara\u00fajo (1940-2022). La iniciativa naci\u00f3 con la propuesta de rescatar, visibilizar y dar protagonismo a la cultura africana y afrobrasile\u00f1a como fundamento de la identidad nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valorar la historia, la memoria, el arte y la contemporaneidad de la di\u00e1spora africana en Brasil, as\u00ed como construir un espacio de reflexi\u00f3n y visibilidad donde la poblaci\u00f3n negra aparezca en primera persona, con protagonismo propio son algunos de sus objetivos principales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A visit to the Afro-Brazilian Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A visit to the Museu Afro Brasil the Afro Brazil Museum, located in the heart of S\u00e3o Paulo’s Ibirapuera Park, was inaugurated in 2004 from the personal collection of Bahian sculptor, curator, and museologist Emanoel Ara\u00fajo (1940-2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative was born with the proposal to rescue, highlight and give prominence to African and Afro-Brazilian culture as the foundation of national identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valuing the history, memory, art, and contemporaneity of the African diaspora in Brazil, as well as building a space for reflection and visibility where the black population appears in the first person, with its own prominence, are some of its main objectives. It also aims to promote cultural inclusion, diversity, and combat prejudice through art, history, and education.<\/p>\n\n\n
